New Maker Yards Community Fund 2023

Get Living is delighted to launch the New Maker Yards Community Fund, which aims to support local projects and causes in Salford. This year’s fund will provide funding for grassroots projects, community groups and social enterprises based in the nearby area that can make a huge difference to the local community. The fund is now open to applications.

The fund will open from Thursday the 1st of June 2023.

And will close on Friday 30th of June 2023.

How to get involved

Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different. Here’s the process:

2. Create a profile for your organisation
3. Post a project you want funding for

Your project will be automatically match with any funds you meet the criteria for.

We have the following criteria for the fund:

  • Grant amount: up to £5,000

  • Location: In the New Makers Yard area, within 2 miles of M3 5EQ

  • Focus area (at least one of the following):

    Education and Employment

    Climate and Nature

    Sustainable consumption and production

    Arts and Culture

    Neighbourhood
