Carling & Wetherspoon Community Fund

Wetherspoon are supporting their local communities in 2022 – with a helping hand from Carling! Together, they are launching a community fund to celebrate community action across the UK.

Who can apply for the fund?

The fund is offering grants of up to £3,000 for groups who run physical activities, mental health support or the opportunity for people to come together in their neighbourhoods to create community connections. To be eligible for funding, projects must be located in the United Kingdom and project beneficiaries must be aged 18 or over.

Carling and Wetherspoon have come together with ActionFunder to distribute their funds. You or your favourite local group will be eligible if you match one of the below criteria. So share or sign up to see if they are a match for our fund!

Latest Fund from Carling & Wetherspoon

To celebrate support of local communities, we are looking for projects from across the UK.

Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different. Here’s the process:

1. Sign up to ActionFunder
2. Create a profile for your organisation
3. Post a project you want funding for

Your project will be automatically match with any funds you meet the criteria for (grant amount, location, focus area). If you want to apply for one of the Carling & Wetherspoon fund, make sure your project meets the fund criteria (found on the fund page).

Your project will remain live on the platform (ready to match with new funds) until you successfully win funding. ActionFunder’s all about saving you time so that you can get on with what matters: community action.
